UPA Govt lacks political will and determination to fight terrorism. During last four years they have not taken any initiative in this direction. They are more concerned with vote bank politics. Lives of large number of innocent persons have been sacrificed at the altar of vote bank politics. Security agencies have been rendered ineffective.

We know why there is an increase in terrorist activity - release of dreaded terrorists and anti minority stance by the BJP. What about the money that was given to the terrorists of Kandahar by the minister himself escorting the terrorists.
Here is a PM in waiting and he will always be waiting who cannot ven remember waht was discussed...Shame,

This is a case of the pot calling the kettle black. If BJP had used army to intervene in the Kandhar hijack or even managed better by not exchanging terrorists, then these statements would have justified. What is expected from them is that they should unconditionally support the govt in tackling terrorism. Can BJP learn from the USA when after 9/11 the whole nation & the opposition party rallied behind the Govt. If that was the case, India would have been a better place to live in.

Look who is talking..where were they when parliament attack. kandahar, akshardham, gujarat riots all happened and now they talk big.
Please lets get these parasites called BJP out and then this country is half saved. It is because of the anti minority policies of Sanfgh and BJP that we are seeing these terrorits attacks.

It is very true that Prime Minister has no control over internal security of the country as he has no time fine the root cause of terrorism. He is always preoccupied either with coalition partners or discussing the internal party affairs with the Madam. All he can do is to offer lip sympathy on the incident and issue statements that terrorism will be handled with iron fists and his wife will shed crocodile tears. The most funniest part of the head of the country is that they will control the inflation before Sept 2008 by which time they will get used to the high cost of inflation. FM says that this is an international phenomena and they have no control over inflation. Agricultural minister Mr .Sharad Powar says that there is no shortage of food and plenty will be available through public distribution, Arjun Singh says he is prepared to sacrifice his life for the sale of 27% reservation, Anbumani Ramadoss attacking film stars in some pretext or other to be in lime light, slike wise each and every minister in his cabinet gives statements of their own but no time to solve the pestering issues of the nation. Assurances are thrown like rotten tomatoes in Karnataks elections etc.etc., other party functionaries are busy showering praises on Madam. Then where is the time to take care of people's problem or tackle terrorism. We Indians are known for the patience towards politicians. So let's wait and watch.

I guess it is very apt to pin blame on the person who made it a style to fail being an architect to the nation's future. He is no better than a peon serving needs and necessities of his bosses, and just relegated to being a servile carpet so that the alliance stays together - Even it means shamelessness. He has met the state CMs and home ministers only once in the last 24 months, that too after the jail break in Chhattisgarh about 7-8 months ago. What kind of a guidance is this ? There is little doubt that any of the home ministers, much less that Union home minister himself, has an clue of how to handle internal security, intra-state coordination, or even provide a framework within which insurgency can be tackled. Bunches of non-performers and coalition politicians cause so much danger and Mr Singh is a perfect example.

Since the UPA government is doing a great job, except on the inflation, which is an international phenomenon and due to increased price of oil and food globally, the BJP does not have anything to beat the government with, except the oft-repeated "soft-approach" to terrorism, forgeting that the worst terror attacks took place during NDA rule under the nose of POTA. This is clearly politicizing terror. In all these one can see through the personal ambition of self-proclaimed "iron-man" of India: L. K ADVANI, to become PM by hook or by crook. It is during the "iron-home-ministership" that terrorists were released from India.

Mr.Manmohan sing's statement of creating a separate federal authority to deal with terrorism is meaningless. Goverment of India always covers up its failures by blaming State governments. The creation of federal force to deal with such matter will only benefit the ruling party at New Delhi to interfere with th day to day to day administration of States. He was once upon a time a good economist. Now he is the weakest Prime Minister and head of a cabinet which is good for nothing.
