Karavadiraghavarao As per the Indian astronomy Pluto is not a Planet.According to Indian astronomers the nine planets are sun(surya),Chndra(moon)Jupiter(bruhaspathi),Sukra(venus)budha(mercury)rahu(ascending node of the moon),
kethu(descending order of the moon),angaraka(mars)
sanee(saturn). With the names of Jupiter and Venus there ia a God and Goddess in Greek Mythology. In Hindu mythology the Sun and moon are Gods. Bruhaspathi is the Guru of divine races.Hindu astronomy may not agree with this discovery. Pluto according to Greek Mythology is the ruler of underworld Hades) in some ways comparable to our Lord Yama.Secrets of creation are numberless.Any amount of resarch is welcome.

shiva kumar malapaka hai i am an astronomer.. and a ph.d student in germany.
i was watching your story on Pluto.. and seriously i felt it was ridiculous.. to ask about a scientific decision and its effect on our lives.. to astologers..
i would have felt extremely happy if this question was phrsased differently and put to scientists.. may be at TIFR, PRL or IIAP or any such institute doing research on planets... and probably bring out the nitty gritties of the reasons on why Pluto had to be booted out as a Planet...and its implications on futher discoveries ...inspiring students and also .. in your TV terms... producing a "interesting story"....
hope u appreciate this view..
with regards,
shiva.
