This dog is a hero in my eyes. The day it got killed needs to be dog day for the world,it also gives us a chance to see the stray animal problem every where. If it was a human hit by a plane you really dont think about exterminating like what is happening now.

I hope the dog survived. A plane or a human being would be taken the hangar/hospital. No one would have bothered about the dog. People are always after the animals. What they forget is that it is we the people who bring them down to this level- we displace them, take over their territory to make ourselves richer etc. when will we ever learn to co exist.

I dont knw why people are making such a hue and cry out of the dog! Dogs are just innocent animals, its the aiport's staff responsible for not taking care that no animal entered the runway. Bad maintenance, careless staff are the real menace than the dog! The dog might have been crushed, but nothing will have made the airport guys give the security of the people a thought.
Btw, recently when I traveeld to Goa from bangalore, a fellow passenger had carried a paper cutter in his pocket on board . I was surprised at this! I didnt know whom to blame - his ignorance or the security personnel's apathy.
Remember, life is life- its not great if it is a human's life or its not cheap if its an animal's life.
You cannot bring back life into a human when it is lost - so it is with the animals. Respect life.

the Airport authority have today approved to issue a User Development Fee (UDF) to commuters using the Airport.. considering the state of the infrastructure and facilities is not our right as citizens to question the use of these funds..
IT IS TIME WE WOKE UP AND ASKED FOR OUR RIGHTS.. will the airport authority give the customers any reimbursements for the inconvenience caused due to the lax arrangements..
Why should Kingsisher have to bear the cost of for something that they are not directly responsible for..
WAKE UP INDIA .. WAKE UP AND ASK FOR YOUR RIGHTS..

The animal rights groups in Bangalore should be held responsible for the city's dog menace! I lived in Bangalore for 5 years and I know about the dog menace there. Dogs attack people and cause havoc to motorists. Several times, people wanted stray dogs to be killed. It was the animals rights groups that kept crusading for the "right" of dogs. Will they now come and enquire about the dog that was hit? How long can animals be protected at the expense of humans?

Dear Philip, if you look at the so called developed nations they too have "street dogs" but they are managed and there are designated palces where they are quadrentined, given food and medical assistance. These are duties of the governemt that have help the society at large, giving employmetnt to people and reducing "menace" on the streets. In india too we pay taxes but they are used to improve the quality of life of the politicians... not citizens like you and me.. every living thing has a right live a good quality of life.. it is very unfair for you to blame the animal activists who are protecting the dogs and cattle from being killed for the inefficiency on the governments part. i advise you to ask the government what happens to the taxes you pay to improve you locality.. STAND UP AND DEMAND YOUR RIGHTS

When the operations shift to BIAL they should not leave the HAL airport to the dogs, but look at it as a facility for the VIP, defence, training, emergencies and as a future facility.

As far as the dogs are concerned, Bangalore is their capital. I am sure Bangalore authorities would take action against the pilot for hitting an innocent dog. bow bow....hail Bow bow Bangalore......
