so called secular people of our country keeps silent when this happens to hindu gods. If, some body writes in Dutch news paper against perticular community these secular people gives immediate open statement condemning it. We should through these people into dustbin quickly.

In the name of "freedom of expression"how long will these artists go on abusing Hindu gods. Not that i am a very religious person or a hindu fanatic but it is sickening that it is considered ok to paint or write in a non complimentary manner about hindu dieties but that it is sacriligious to do the same on other religions. When will thsi hypocricy stop in this country?

Take all the Religions in the world and you will find that it is only Hindu religion that is found the best as far as tolerence is concerned. That speaks about their advanced thinking process and ideology. And, it is only people from this religion, whether he or she is an artist or belonging to any other profession; they would never hurt the sentiments of other reeligion. Now, to talk about Mr. Hussain, there is no doubt that he is a great artist; but,he takes Hindu religion for granted. And, those who support him in such acts are only trying to show their solidarity to him; as he is attacked by Hindu fundamentalists.And, even the Media has been too soft on him, for reasons best known to them. Now, keep aside these protests and his regular apologies; will he dare to draw something controversial related to his own religion on his canvas ? Today, more than we Indians living here,our NRI Hindus are more concerned about such stupidity? Haven't we seen their sharp reactions abroad, over printing of Hindu Gods on tolilet seats?

I came across one of his paintings of Mohammad's daughter, which he had depicted with burkha and only face is visible, but our hindu gods he had painted ganesha, saraswathi naked and in very objectionable positions, to which there is no justification since he is muslim he respects only his god, but hindu gods he will denigrade, he should be hanged to death to set a precedance for people who may think that hindustan is their father's property and they can go scot free after hurting our sentiments thanks .....a true INDIAN
