Health minister is not focusing on core Health issues.Children are dying due to contaminated medicine and poor people are not getting the right medical attention.Mortuary facility is very bad in all Government hospitals through out India.Rather than doing good things for the people who elected him to this office , he is indulging in cheap and dirty politics.Should be removed and not to be elected in future.

its a great decision. ramdoss had passed this bill just to remove dr. venogopal. everyone knows that ramdoss has personnal differences with venugopal but this does not means that such a reputed sugeon. as health minister, ramdoss should concentrate on providing health care to the poor people. india is ranked worst in the public health. so, he should try to build more government hospitals, and provide equipments and machines in those hospitals.

It is a classic case of clash of individual ego’s leading to misplaced priorities, in a society where no one is finally responsible or answerable.
The result of this tussle is loss a for the patients who are deprived of care, the trainee doctors who loose the best years of training and the employee’s of AIIMS who are dissatisfied and demoralised.
The roles and responsibilities of AIIMS to my understanding are: 1. Providing the highest quality of care to the patients. 2. Maintaining high quality of service by ensuring that the employees have accesses to continuous training and professional development. 3. Participate in research and direct medical audit of national standards. 4. Lead to development of national guidelines of care. 5. Help the government in making policy discissions for long health care needs of the country.
While the ministry has a moral obligation to ensure that the citizens of the nation are receiving the best possible care and taxpayers money is being put to good use.
The ministry I am sure has a responsibility to:
1. Support the growth of the centre of excellence. 2. Ensure that the employees are motivated and satisfied. 3. The patients are the first concern of the organization and strive towards quality care. 4. Ensure compliance with standards of care through medical audit. 5. Identify and help over come deficiencies in the system.
If the above roles are understood and care for patients and training for health professionals are the goals of both the ministry and organization then there is no scope for a individualised legal battle.

The Minister has alwyas been frivilous & destrctive apart from being huge egoist. He should be sacked by SMMS,which of course will not happen as this Congress govt is ruled by CPM,DMK & other allies.

Wonder what congress does now. They can resort to any stupid means to fulfill their need. May be, they will talk to their rubber stamp to overrun the apex court judgement. Last few years, congress has been like this..governors were changed, president rule was imposed..what not..they can do everything for keeping themselves alive

Parliament Bi BIKEGA!!! Why don't the Sagarika or Sardesai debate the high handedness of health ministry with arm of PMO!
Unless, people get open heart surgery, they don't care cardiac surgeons!

This is good news for Venugopal, and even better news for Bollywood stars.
Maybe now Ramadoss can once again focus on his rivalry with the AIIMS director, and leave Shah Rukh and Amitabh alone!
