P.Chandra Bose Kudos to our Hockey team. Truly Chak De style after undergoing so much of turnoil. Most of the big corporates have spent millions of dollars in the IPL, will any of these guys have a heart to spend some money in our National Game. We are supposed to be World Champions and today we are in a sorry state. Does Mukesh Ambani need a house of Rs 80,000 Crores, couldn't he think spending a minuscule amount of that on our Hockey players and spend some money on Football.
It is great to have so many richest people of the world in India but it is pathetic that none from that lot has the heart/soul to do something for Sports in our country.

Balu I am very about hockey team and the same change also happened in cricket and other national games. Country should change higher people every year and provide chance to youngsters.

Anonymous Its a truly remarkable turnaround. But shouldn't we highlight it a lot more. There's hardly any mention of this on air. Cant News channels take up some more ownership in helping the sport in thier own 2 cents way???

Parag Salute!!! Salute to players who play for the game, spirit of sportsmanship, in tremendous pressure and with feeling for the game and nation. This can be easily compared to cricket which is played more for popularity and money.

Jasmeet Singh India didn’t lose yesterday. Indeed India won the Silver Medal with pride. It was the junior team who represented India in Azlan Shah Hockey tournament and being in final is itself a great achievement for the team. The final had all the components which a final should have – exciting, energetic, enthusiastic and keenly fought contested. Players gave their 100%, Argentina was lucky to get a golden goal in the extra time. Anyways three cheers for Indian Hockey team.
