shar This is terrible. If this is what people want to see... then we live in a sick world. I hope these girls get the book thrown at them like adults would.

Tony Colangelo watching that video disgusts me. A fair fight? I clearly see more than one girl beating up the defenselss girl. What kind of parents would defend their kids acting that way? It just goes to show you, what trash the parents really are, and one day when their kid comes home assaulted, maybe then they will wonder why. I'll bet their daughters are the ones you see on " Girls gone wild" videos. The parents should be proud, of their trampy little daughter. Congratulations parents!!

Marta Mantzouranis Any parent that advocates the beating of any child because of comments that child has made needs to revisit right from wrong. A physical assault along with the verbal attack these girls inflicted on this girl is unacceptable. This generation is being taught that they don't have to answer to anyone. These kids are the next generation of leaders, teachers, mothers and fathers. Now is it really a good idea to teach them that if someone says something about you that you don't like, beat them up? Wake up America and start holding your children responsible for their behaviors.

mike These kids need to go to jail. It's amazing to me that we have reached a condition where parents feel like there is some type of justification for this behavior. What an awful thing to watch. Imagine this being one of your kids.

E. MacLachlan Sad state of affairs for society in general. Should videotape the 6 girls being arrested. Even if victim did make "mean comments" that is no excuse for the "disgusting" attack on her. I hope those two boys were also arrested and charged. I would be tempted to "throw the book at them". Those 8 teenagers obviously do not respect the law, they are old enough to "know better", made the "choice" to act in a vicious and unlawful manner, are of the age to know the difference between right and wrong, therefore should be held accountable for their said actions and not just a "slap on the wrist". Unfortunately, I do not believe they really "care" about anybody but there "two seconds of fame" or "infamous" actions. They are probably only sorry now because they got caught. Where were the parents of the teenager in whose home they beating took place? I believe the parents of all those 8 teenagers also need to be held "accountable". Sometimes the "apple does not fall far from the tree".

glenn The only way to stop future events like this is to sentence all teenagers involved to at least 5-10 years in prison (without parole). Sounds harsh, but if our society does not let young people know that this is unacceptable others will copy it or do worse. Can a filmed murder be far behind.
