Subhs I couldn't agree more. Mr. Ramadoss has only been talking of what others should/ should not do. Has he done anything himself? Rather than creating awareness against smoking, he projected Shahrukh Khan as the single biggest reason for people smoking in India. Rather than concentrating on what the kids eat after they see Saif eating chips, he should concentrate on how the malnourished kids can be fed. He asks Mr. Mallya to change his team name, expecting him to renounce his own product line, but did not bother to start a drive against cheap and poisonous liquor. What has this guy done except putting the blame squarely on rich and famous. HE indulges in spats with AIIMS but AIIMS produces only about .001% of doctors in India. We need 20 more insitutes like AIIMS. Has he done anything for this. Has he done anything to provide health care to the ones who need it the most - The rural India. What has he done for specially challenged people? What has he done for Visually challenged people? What has he done to impart research capabilities in our medical institutes? What has he done to provide clean water? What has he done to provide free medicines? What has he done? NOTHING EXCEPT SLANDERING AND QUESTIONING FEW HEPLESS INDIVIDUALS. Misuse and waste of power at the same time. Single handedly the most pretentious union minister.

viswanathan s As rightly said by Mrs. Sharmila Tagore, the minister should concentrate on other important thingsother than silly issues to gain political mileage. Infant mortality, Nursery, Primary health centres, Emergency services to accident victims without police harassment, Family planning and Child welfare, Treatment to senior citizens etc. etc. are some of the issues he can concentrate and improve. But his real intentions are to gain political milage like his father and be in the head lines always with silly issues which really does not matter for the common man like AIIMS and Dr/Mr Venugopal with whom he had personal vengeance or the 27% reservation issue. The less one says about this person is good than to prolong.

Lalit I would request Minister Ramadoss to exercise his faculties of speech sparingly for health reasons (ours mostly), since it causes his fellow countrymen considerable pain in the ears and in the head.
