Anupam Dixit Arushi's murder is shoking. infact everything related to the crime is shoking, the media, the police, society evrything. How can is it possible that arushi was murdered on thursday noon and parents were aware about that 16 to 14 hrs later. Why we are being so ignorent about our children. i can't belive that parents after returning home did not inquired the Wherebouts of Arushi and went to sleep!!!??. don't we have spare time even for our children to interact?.

Abhishek Kulkarni The police has made a mockery of yet another investigation. If this is the best the police can do in such a high profile case, I cringe at the fate of other equally heinous crimes that never recieve media attention. But, that would be flogging a dead horse.

The Electronic media especially the Hindi News Channels should also share part of the blame. Under the guise of "freedom of the press" these Pseudo-Journos ruthlessly pass off conjecture as fact. One channel, went so far as to blame the girl's father for being too drunk to react while the servant raped his daughter!!! Both of these facts were found to be untrue the very next day. However, no apology or retraction was made by the news channel. It is an apalling oversight that should be hauled up in court and stringent punitive damages should be imposed on the media outlet in question.

I would much rather have an open debate on the callous atitude of the media than talk about police incompetence.
